New Delhi : The India Book of Records (IBR) is again in the news for recognizing several top achievers in different fields. The record for performing the maximum number of push-ups (67) in one minute was set by Shaleni Banthia (49) of Delhi, while Dr. Edupuganti Padmaja Rani of Hyderabad made a record for receiving the maximum number of educational degrees (21) in Maths, Law, Telugu, Sanskrit, Jyothisham, Philosophy, Astrology,  Engineering, Vaastu, and Education from various UGC recognized universities. The record for inviting the maximum number of cultural teams (30) to perform on Guru Purnima was set by Anga Upendra Varma (34) of Vijayawada.     Chandigarh:  Harshita Joshi, a commerce student of  I S Dev Samaj  Senior Secondary School, Sector 21 Chandigarh scored an inspiring 93.8 percent in the CBSE Class 12 th  results declared recently. Khusleen Kaur, a Class 12 th  student scored 93.6 percent in the commerce stream.  Himani Thakur, a medical student of Dev Samaj School scored 90.8 percent, while Saurabh Kushwaha, a non-medical student scored 91.8 percent and Shivanshi Verma scored 88.4 percent in the arts stream. Meanwhile, in the   CBSE Class 10 th  result Priyanshu scored 95.8 percent. Samanpreet Kaur scored 90.2 percent, while Harnoor Kaur and Rhythm Sikka scored 89.8 percent in CBSE Class 10th results declared recently.

Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Sector 21 -C, Chandigarh has bagged the third prize in the category of 'Best Contingent NSS Boys/ NSS Girls School Children' in the Republic Day Parade 2023, organised by Chandigarh Administration.  The Principal, Mrs. Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat congratulated the students for this achievement and their commendable performance. Meanwhile, the school enthusiastically celebrated  India ’s 74th Republic Day on the school premises. The Republic Day celebration was initiated with the National Song ‘Vande Matram’, which was followed by a Flag Hoisting ceremony and the National Anthem.
