IBR record holders make India proud once again
New Delhi: The India Book of Records (IBR) is again in the news for recognizing several top achievers in different fields. The record for performing the maximum number of push-ups (67) in one minute was set by Shaleni Banthia (49) of Delhi, while Dr. Edupuganti Padmaja Rani of Hyderabad made a record for receiving the maximum number of educational degrees (21) in Maths, Law, Telugu, Sanskrit, Jyothisham, Philosophy, Astrology, Engineering, Vaastu, and Education from various UGC recognized universities. The record for inviting the maximum number of cultural teams (30) to perform on Guru Purnima was set by Anga Upendra Varma (34) of Vijayawada. The event was held at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Mangalagiri on July 3, 2023.
The record for teaching maximum girls (1148) English
Grammar offline in a single session was set by Praveen Chirayath (40) from
Thrissur, Kerala. The record for the largest temple in the shape of Lord
Ganesha is set by Shree Siddhi Vinayak Devasthan, Mahemdavad, Gujarat. The
record for the longest freestyle relay dance marathon was set by the Rotaract Club
of SIMCA, where 80 participants in 10 teams gathered at the Sinhgad Institute
of Management and Computer Application in Pune and danced for 16 hours. The
record for performing the maximum number of hula hoop spins (3592) in the Lasso
position on roller skates for 30 minutes was set by Aaradhya Gupta (8) of Delhi.
The record for the longest duration (3 hrs 39
minutes) to perform Bharatanatyam was set by Arnavi Sagar Racharlawar (7) of
Wardha, Maharashtra. The record for the maximum number of participants (3068) with
disabilities performing yoga for 30 minutes at a single venue on June 21, 2023, was
set by the Dept of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry
of Social Justice & Empowerment. The record for 3374 doctors pledging to
drive awareness on the use of pneumococcal vaccine for comprehensive disease
protection was set by Pfizer Ltd., during World Immunization Week.
