Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao to divorce after 15 years of marriage

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and producer-director Kiran Rao have announced that they are separating after 15 years of marriage. In a statement, they said they would raise their son together and still work on joint projects. "In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy and laughter," the statement said.

Khan, 56, and Rao, 47, first met in 2001, and married four years later. They said they wanted to "begin a new chapter in our lives - no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other". They added that their relationship had "only grown in trust, respect and love"

Before Kiran, he was married to Reena Dutta. They were together for 16 years and later got divorced in 2002.

New Delhi : The India Book of Records (IBR) is again in the news for recognizing several top achievers in different fields. The record for performing the maximum number of push-ups (67) in one minute was set by Shaleni Banthia (49) of Delhi, while Dr. Edupuganti Padmaja Rani of Hyderabad made a record for receiving the maximum number of educational degrees (21) in Maths, Law, Telugu, Sanskrit, Jyothisham, Philosophy, Astrology,  Engineering, Vaastu, and Education from various UGC recognized universities. The record for inviting the maximum number of cultural teams (30) to perform on Guru Purnima was set by Anga Upendra Varma (34) of Vijayawada.
