Dr Vinod K Verma gets Silver Jubilee Award for Policy Advocacy in Non-Ferrous Industry


New Delhi25th International Conference on Non-Ferrous Metals 2021 was held on 3rd and 4th September 2021 at Hotel Le-Meridian, New Delhi. Corporate Monitor teamed up with JNARDDC, Aluminium Association of India , Material Recycling Association of India and Ministry of Mines for this International Conference.

Shri Sanjay Lohiya , IAS. Add Secretary, Ministry of Mines , Govt of India inaugurated   the conference  in the august presence  of the Heads of public and private sector organisations  dealing with Non ferrous  minerals  and metals like CMD of NALCO, Director of HCL and Vedanta , CEO- Copper Business Hindalco . The event provided an excellent platform to bring together  the Indian Non ferrous industry with the  international metal industry and also provided an opportunity to  share the view points and discuss the best practices, benchmarks technological advancements innovations and opportunities of collective empowerment working  to promote the non-ferrous industry

Dr Vinod K Verma, Senior Vice President- Group Corporate Affairs and Head Regulatory Affairs, HIL, Aditya Birla Group was bestowed with Silver Jubilee Award for his excellence in Policy Advocacy for Non-Ferrous Industry. Dr Verma Champions the cause and issues of both Copper and Aluminium Industries at various levels in the Government Corridor.  

He has 30 years of experience especially in Metal and Mining field. Dr Verma is also an academician, Management teacher and Trainer as well.

Apart from this, Dr Verma has been conferred with various prestigious awards like Excellence Award at London Parliament, Global Citizen Award for excellence in Diplomatic Community Networking, International Excellence Award 2020 for Policy Advocacy and Diplomatic Relations in Madrid-Spain, Philip Kotler Award - India Achiever Corporate Affairs Specialist to name a few.
